There are variety of dishes in this province, most of which depend on the local resources and livestock like dairies and ghee. Dates and yoghurt is a staple food in this province as well as uromastyx, wild rabbits, and birds.  Also, truffles are used in making delicious dishes such as Al-Milaihi, Marqouq, Matazeez, and Al-Wishaiq. ​​
