It is an old building built of stones with a cement ceiling and it was established in 1372H during the reign of King Abdul Aziz – God’s mercy be upon him. It is located near an archaeological area in Domat al Jondal. It features many rooms and halls, and one of them measuring 6x15 m in span, which was used by one of the citizens recently to hold an exhibition to display many of the heritage pieces. Part of the building is also used for selling archeological artifacts, traditional and local merchandise and others. In 1419H, a building was added from the eastern side, called “Domat Al-Jondal Traditional Market”, which was built of stones with a contemporary touch.
